It was while working as a nurse manager and educator that Kris repeatedly saw the toxic effects of ongoing stress, anxiety and overwhelm. It was after her 12-year-old daughter overcame brain cancer that she decided to do something about it. In 2013 she launched her own company called The Hokey Pokey Clinic. It was a place for people to turn themselves around!

In 2018 The Hokey Pokey Clinic changed its name to Impact Zone Strategies, but its focus and purpose stayed the same: to equip and empower leaders with the clarity, confidence and courage they needed to make a positive impact on their world, without sacrificing what matters most.
